Mistletoe Margarita

IMG_9150.jpg

Hi friends! So this isn’t a sponsored post or anything, but I have missed doing my simple, anyone can make it, food and drink recipes! And when your sister works at Heaven Hill and brings home a bottle of tequila, it wasn’t too hard to find the motivation on this one!

So if you know me, in the fall 90% of the time if I’m enjoying a drink, it’s my standard cider and red wine in a trusty coffee mug. It’s just that good guys. BUT. If I’m going to have an actual drink, margaritias are where my heart is. I think I could live on them and queso alone. Don’t judge.

Digging through Pinterest, we found these mistletoe margaritas and decided to do our own take on them! How festive and fun are these for the holidays!?

We didn’t have any Grand Marnier so we substituted that for orange juice and increase how much tequila we used. It was delicious so I don’t think any mistakes were made! :)

INGREDIENTS

Drink

2 oz tequila
2 oz white cranberry juice
2 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
1 oz orange juice

Garnish

Rosemary
Cranberries
Lime sliced
Sugar for rim (honestly I prefer salt, but it’s kind of a sweet drink)
