A Pop of Color(block)

Weekends are good for the soul. Both Saturday and Sunday were 65 and sunny here in my corner of the world. To be fair, March in Louisville means absolutely nothing as far as the seasons go, but I'll take this spring weather where I can get it! We spent the weekend eating TONS of good food (think fish fry, Steak & Shake milkshakes and fries, and The Silver Dollar), getting our house back in order (almost), at an impromptu concert in Lexington, and running around NULU.

It's no secret that a basic striped T is basically my love language. So pairing a simple, neutral outfit with this bright clutch from ClaudiaG was a no brainer! Especially when the colors scream of summer. Yes please!

Do you have any pieces that you always seem to grab no matter what? This green jacket is a go to for me. I'll pair it with anything from a nice dress, to a pair of leggings. Now that I am having to put effort into my clothes at work, I don't want to have to try hard on the weekends. I love how simple this look is, and it's perfect for layering while we anxiously wait for spring!
