So this recipe is curtsey of my sweet friend Kristen, with inspiration from Bob's Red Mill. These "cookies in a jar" were a gift for helping host a baby shower for little Emerson. They are super quick & easy, with all the dry ingredients in the jar. All you have to add is the butter, egg, and vanilla. So they are the perfect treat for a hostess gift or the holidays (Or just for your family when your get a sweet tooth!).
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter chips
1 1/4 cup rolled oats
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, egg and vanilla until well blended.
Add all of the dry mix and stir well.
Drop dough onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes, until light golden brown. Let cool.
