Pecan Sticky Buns

So my sister leaves today for Europe for almost an entire year. Which is so crazy to me. She's going to be teaching in France! She won't be back in the U.S. until it's summer again. No holidays, nothing. I'm really hoping that I can visit her while she is there! 

So yesterday was "her day" which included eating out at oh so many restaurants, dinner with the family, and dessert of her choice. I told her I would make her whatever dessert she wanted as part of her send off, and we landed on these sticky buns! Really easy, such a mess, and they were a hit!

Ingredients

2 tubes of Pilsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits (used 1.5)
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup pancake syrup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup nuts (I used pecans)

Instructions

Spray bunt pan with non-stick spray. Combine the melted butter and syrup in bowl and set aside. In separate bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.

Place about half the syrup mixture in the bottom of the bundt pan, then add the sugar mixture over that.

Lay the biscuits on the bottom of the pan in a ring, overlapping as you go. I think the next time I make this I will put a little syrup in between each piece. Top with the remaining mixtures.

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Let cool for 2-3 minutes then invert onto plate! 

Enjoy! We ate this for dessert, even though it's technically breakfast so you can make it for whatever you like!
