Garlic Parmesan Pasta

So this is a Pintrest recipe that turned out right for me! It's quick, it's easy, and my husband actually says it's one of his favorites!

I got the recipe from Damn Delicious. She is awesome and has lots of different meal ideas for when you hit that same meal slump!

4 cloves garlic (I buy the squeezeable kind. Life changing. Whoever invented it has to be rich)

2tbsp Parsley this is garnish so it's not crazy critical but you probably have it in your spice cabinet if you don't have it fresh

2 cups chicken broth

8 oz Fettuccine

Salt & Pepper (I love sea salt. I need to get one of those fresh pepper grinders)

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1 cup milk 

1/4 cup parmesan cheese


Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. (We have actually used a wok and it's been great for not having stuff spill over the edges. Not sure if that's technically right but oh well.)

Add garlic and cook, stirring frequently about one to two minutes until fragrant. 

Stir in chicken broth, milk, butter, and fettuccine. 

Season with salt and pepper to taste. 

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer. Stir occasionally, until pasta is cooked through, about 18-20 minutes. 

Stir in Parmesan cheese.

If too thick, add milk to thin consistency. 

Garnish with parsley if desired!

Hope you like it! As I said, super easy, done in 20 minutes, and it's perfect for day you want a fresh warm meal but don't want to put effort into cooking! And again ONE PAN ONLY!
