So part of our exploring in Atlanta was learning more about these awesome Living Walls! The City Speaks is an annual conference on street art and urbanism that set out to highlight a number of problems facing the city, while changing the urban landscape. Which resulted in these beautiful, giant works of art all over the city! It is not only a way to showcase awesome works or art, but it also has built a platform for much needed dialogue in the city. These walls seek to promote, educate, and change perspectives about public space in their community via street art. And to have tourists follow a crazy map to take pictures of them in the rain.
